Odoo Developer

Responsibilities

Develop and customize Odoo modules and applications to meet specific business requirements.
Customize Odoo and integrate it with third-party systems.
Perform system upgrades, migrations, and maintenance tasks.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Write technical documentation and provide training to end-users as needed.
Stay up to date with Odoo releases and best practices to ensure optimal performance and security.
Follow source code management processes to maintain code in Git version control.

Requirements

Strong understanding of Odoo’s basic workflow.
Experience developing with the latest versions of Odoo, with excellent debugging skills.
Proven expertise in developing custom Odoo modules.
View customization experience (e.g., working with Widgets, Wizards, JavaScript, XML views).
Proficiency in creating Q-Web reports.
Experience importing data using both Odoo’s built-in import tools and custom Python scripts.
Experience with Odoo.sh and deploying applications on cloud platforms.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Experience with PostgreSQL and database management.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Prior experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is a plus.

Contract Details

This position is initially offered as a 6-month contract, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role. This provides stability and continuity for the successful candidate.
